The family-run establishment combines warmth and hospitality with an ideal location just a 10-minute walk from the bustling Fira center, while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The air conditioning in my room was a welcomed relief during the warmer days, and having access to complimentary Wi-Fi allowed me to stay connected while enjoying my serene getaway. I was also enchanted by the beautifully maintained terrace, where I could sip my morning coffee from the electric kettle, enjoying the view and the delightful company of playful cats that roamed the property. With a plethora of local dining options within a short walking distance, including the amazing Lixoudis Pastry Shop just around the corner, I felt spoiled for choice and found my culinary adventures to be a highlight of my stay. Villa Ilios is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to any traveler seeking a rejuvenating escape in Santorini.
